EarthCheck Certification programs focus on 16 Key Performance Areas (KPAs) over three main standards, Company, Destination and Design. The KPAs cover social, cultural and environmental sustainability. These KPAs have been mapped to the SDGs are summarised below. Every KPA fits within one or more SDG, showing that EarthCheck’s holistic approach to certification helps achieve the UN’s SDGs.
