We are here to solve the growing demand for hospitality businesses and leaders to be sustainable and provide them with the right insights + solutions. Most importantly, though, we are here to solve the greatest need to preserve our world by encouraging environmental, social, and cultural best practices.
Businesses and individuals around the world have heard about sustainability and the need to implement sustainable policies, however, the problem is that quite often they do not know how to start, how to measure, how to design, or how to implement sustainability. That is where we come in to guide anyone who wishes to be a force for good.
Our Story
It all started in between the Swiss Bernese alps of Gstaad and Lausanne, where through valued mentors and studies at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the idea of Good Earth formed. We have become conscious of the worsening climate emergencies in the last decade and the need to commit to sustainability with accountability, transparency, actionability and consider the People, Planet, Profit triple bottom line model to create business plan strategies to lower and mitigate risks.
Due to studying at a Hospitality school, we have also learned about the huge negative impacts of the hospitality sector on communities and the environment. While many ‘talked the sustainability talk’ few have truly made rigorous sustainability with full accountability and transparency a priority in their operations. Good Earth wants to see players in the hospitality world work with a purpose that is accountable + transparent around sustainability and that they take responsibility for their total impacts on communities and the environment. We also want to inform young leaders and students about the importance of sustainability, as they are our future.
